A source from the Mausam crew says, "Priyanka has come here to Chandigarh twice. On December 30 Shahid flew to Goa to bring in the New Year with Priyanka and her family. On December 30 he actually missed his flight to Goa via Mumbai, so he caught another one from Chandigarh via Delhi to Goa." Talk about going great lengths to be with your love!
Apparently Shahid spent New Year's Eve with Priyanka and flew back to Chandigarh on January 1. The Mausam shooting had come to a standstill for these two days.
But the source is quick to stand up for Shahid in saying that he wasn't the one responsible for a causing a delay in the shooting schedule, "We had decided to take a break for New Year's anyway. We were all there. Shahid's absence was glaring especially because his father was there. We joked about how the 'Mausam' was very romantic in Goa at this time of the year."
