During India V/S England world cup match at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore, couple Deepika Padukone and Siddhrath Mallya was seen cheering for the team India. After the match, they had a wonderful lunch with Kevin and highly impressed with their hospitality, Kevin revealed the secret that they are couple.
Immediately after the lunch, KP tweeted, “I just had a lovely lunch with Sidhartha and his girlfriend Deepika Padukone. Thanks for picking up the bill Deepika, not!”
For the uninitiated, Kevin Pietersen also plays for the IPL team, Bangalore Royal Challengers, which is owned by the Mallyas. Currently, he's playing the Cricket World Cup in the Indian subcontinent.
Deeps and Sid were earlier spotted enjoying the India-England world cup match in Bangalore on Sunday. The duo has apparently been together for a year now.
Both Padukone and Mallya, the son of a billionaire Indian industrialist, have consistently denied rumours that they are dating despite being seen publicly together at most social events.
Even after being spotted together regularly at public places and celebrity parties, the couple kept denying love relationship between them. They tried hard to maintain their 'only friends tag'. However, truth cannot be hidden for long, Kevin gives the confirmation by calling them boyfriend and girlfriend.
Sidhartha even said that since Deepika is the brand ambassador of Kingfisher, it was quite obvious that they can be seen together. But one wonders why no other poster girls of Kingfisher are seen with Sidhartha other than Deepika?
