Selena Gomez receives death threats from Justin Bieber fans after she's pictured kissing teen singer in Caribbean

Selena Gomez has received a string of death threats after she was pictured kissing teen star Justin Bieber while holidaying on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia.
The young stars have been coy about rumors of romance for several months, however the new pictures, which have surfaced online, seem to have confirmed their secret relationship.
Justin's fans, who are popularly known as 'Beliebers', posted several hostile messages to the 18-year-old Disney star on Twitter today.
One message read: 'Roses are red, violets are blue, @selenagomez if you'll break @justinbieber's heart I'm gonna kill you'.

Another said: 'I'll kill you I swear on GOD!!!'
While a third threatened: 'If you are the Girlfriend of Justin I will Kill you I HATE YOU :@ !!!'
Selena and Justin, 16, have not responded to the poisonous posts.
Although the Wizards of Waverly Place star did send a tweet today letting her fans know she will be attending the People's Choice Awards later this week.
'Guess what!? @selenagomez and the Scene will be performing live from the People Choice awards on Wednesday'.

Selena's fans have since taken to Twitter to show their support for the singer: 'Omg some of the things 'Beliebers' have been saying to poor @selenagomez are awful, it makes me wanna cry', one fan posted.
Selena and Justin have been keeping very close company in recent weeks.
They enjoyed pancakes at American chain restaurant, IHop pancake house in Philadelphia, and last month they were snapped warmly embracing after Selena attended Justin's sold-out concert at the American Airlines Arena in Miami.
Speaking to Us Weekly, she denied any type of romance insisting that they two were more like brother and sister.
'It was pancakes! Oh my gosh! [Justin is] one of my best friends…' she mused.
'Who doesn't like pancakes? We were both performing in the same place so we went and had pancakes together. That's all it is. All innocent.'
Selena also explained her feelings for Justin, describing him as 'family'.
'I love Justin. When he first started to come over from Canada his manager contacted me and he just said that he would like to meet me and he was just such a good kid…' she said.
'I feel like a big sister now, because I want to protect him.
