Katrina Kaif’s Debut Kiss is Back

Katrina Kaif’s debutant movie was Boom released in 2003. In this movie Katrina had given certain hot and steamy scenes with Bollywood bad boy Gulshan Grover. But when the movie was released those controversial scenes were cut from the movie. No one wanted the displeasure of Salman Khan at that time. Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan were seeing each other at that time.
Now Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are no longer together. So makers of the Boom decided to re-release the DVD of the Katrina Kaif’s debut movie without cutting those controversial scenes.
Now the makers of Boom want to re-release Boom to encash Katrina Kaif’s new found stardom. A source from the industry says, “It is clear that the makers of ‘Boom’ want to cash in on Katrina`s success. She is a top actress now and naturally there will be curiosity about a steamy scene she did, when she was a newcomer.”
Gulshan Grover also confirmed the news and said, “It is true. The new lot will have the controversial scene, which was omitted earlier. Many years have passed since we did ‘Boom’ and even I had forgotten that such a scene existed in it. But we are all set to refresh the past. The scene certainly will have its share of reactions.”
Can Katrina take any action against the makers of Boom? Is she aware of the latest happenings of her first release? A source says, “They don`t need to inform her or get her permission for the same. She had signed a contract knowing fully well what she was doing and had got paid for it.”
The filmmakers are are planing to release the film on the big screen once again. Sanjay Jumani is the international distributor of the Boom. He says, “It is true that the deleted scenes will be included in the new print. We are also going to re-release the film in UK, USA and Gulf. We feel the film had not got its due when it released. It was ahead of its time.”
