Katrina Kaif deleted scene from Boom is back

Her steamy kiss with Gulshan Grover in the DVD of her debut film that was deleted, will now appear in the new one The question that begs to be asked is why the makers want to release a fresh DVD when it’s not exactly a hot selling item. Says an industry source, ‘It is clear that the makers of Boom want to cash in on Katrina’s success. She is a top actress now and naturally there will be curiosity about a steamy scene she did, when she was a newcomer.” It’s just another way to make a quick buck at her expense Gulshan confirms, “It is true. The new lot will have the controversial scene, which was omitted earlier. Many years have passed since we did Boom and even I had forgotten that such a scene existed in it. But we are all set to refresh the past. The scene certainly will have its share of reactions.” Meanwhile, the actress is clueless about this new development. However, a source from the production says, “They don’t need to inform her or get her permission for the same. She had signed a contract knowing fully well what she was doing and had got paid for it.” Fact remains that Kat has time and again admitted that she regrets doing the bold scenes at the start of her career.
Boom on big screen too
Sanjay Jumani, the international distributor of the film, reveals, “It is true that the deleted scenes will be included in the new print. We are also going to re-release the film in UK, USA and Gulf. We feel the film had not got its due when it released. It was ahead of its time.”

Ameesha Patel was Yuvi’s special Guest

With that one stroke, the all-rounder must’ve broken several hearts. That said, given the long line of B-Town beauties on Yuvi’s arm, is Ameesha the latest maiden to be bowled over? It sure seems to be.
Ameesha confirms, “Yuvi is a good friend and he invited me.” And if there was any doubt about her special dosti with the cricketer, the words of gushing praise give a clear indication.
“Yuvi bowled, fielded and batted superbly on Saturday.
When he almost got run out I screamed the loudest! Saif (Ali Khan) and Ranbir (Kapoor), who were in the same box, looked at me as if I was mad because I was making them so nervous.”
The actress sat in the specially reserved ICC Hospitality Box near the pavilion says, “People kept asking me to quiet down as I was the most boisterous. I kept shouting for Yuvi to play stably.”
She wanted to meet Yuvraj after the end of play, but the crowds were hysterical by then. “It took me three hours to get home,” she says.
Them, Too
Ameesha was worried for other India players as well…
GAUTAM GAMBHIR: “We all wanted him to complete his 100 and all stood up and clapped when he got out as he played fabulously.”
SACHIN TENDULKAR: “I find him too cute. When he got out, we all thought we had lost the match.”
She shows love for the opposition as well…
LASITH MALINGA: “I just love him. I’m dying to meet him and give him a hug and a kiss. I find him very interesting and unconventional.
